Easter Special

From Monday March 1st through Saturday March 6th until noon, I'm going to be scheduling 1 hour photo sessions for your precious kiddos. It is $35 per kiddo for 1 hour. Dress them up in their Easter best or come casual, but bring them and plan on some fun. These sessions will go fast, so don't wait to schedule yours. All pictures will be done in studio (my home) with a white or black backdrop. Each scheduled session will come with a free 8 x 10 collage of your favorite edited images. As always, all edited images will be posted on my website for viewing, sharing and ordering. Introducing Portrait Parties by Monica Hamby Photography

A Portrait Party is about as easy as it gets. As the hostess, your only job is to invite your friends to an open house-style playdate. You provide some refreshments and whatever level of fun you want, and let me do all the work. As a guest, it’s even easier: bring your child, then let them go have fun at the playdate.

Here’s how it goes: The day of the portrait party, I set up a natural light studio in the hostess’ home. As the kids arrive, I take each one aside for a mini-session. 30 minutes later, they’re finished and free to join the fun with the other kids.

Within the next week, the hostess will contact the guests to let everyone know their proofs are ready to be viewed, shared and ordered. After that, you can sit back, relax, and wait for your prints, canvases and other Monica Hamby Photography products to arrive on your doorstep.

Why host a Portrait Party? As hostess you will not pay a sitting fee plus you will be given an 8x10 portrait and 4 wallets FREE if you host a portrait party with at least 6 scheduled sessions. With 10 scheduled sessions, you will also receive a FREE 11 x 14 portrait.

Why attend a Portrait Party? It is a fun and relaxing way to have professional portraits of your children and family done. There is a sitting fee of $25 for unlimited portraits and individuals for a 30 minute session. That is over 50% off my normal sitting fee. I also provide many different props or if there is something special you’d like to have used in your child’s portraits please feel free to bring that with you to the party. Plus, the atmosphere at Portrait Parties is much more relaxing and fun which will allow for memorable captured moments of your children.

How does the party work? A minimum of 6 sessions (including the hostess) is required to book a portrait party. Each session is approximately 30 minutes. The hostess sets up the sessions before the party date. Sessions must be booked back to back.

How do I order portraits? The hostess will contact all guests when portraits are ready to be viewed, shared and ordered from. Pictures will be available online for purchase within one week of your portrait party. I offer over 139 different products for all portrait parties. The portrait party album can either be made public or private.

What are the Hostess responsibilities? Most importantly, is to provide a space for the photographer to set up for the portrait session. If you don't have enough space you may host your party at our home studio in our kid friendly play room. Other responsibilities include: send invitations to all the guests, scheduling 30 minute session times back to back, and notifying the photographer prior to the party with guests and session information.
